This means we model railways in 16mm to the foot scale (1:19). As we're modelling narrow gauge, this means we run on 32mm or 45mm gauge track (the distance between the rails). As the scale is large by traditional standards, and the fact we usually run live steam, our railways are normally outside in the garden. However, there are also some inside layouts.
